1. Purpose
Destek Ol is committed to using the resources entrusted to it in a manner consistent with their purpose, traceable and accountable, and to ensuring that financial information provided to donors and the public is accurate, understandable and verifiable.
2. Types of funds
| Type of fund | Treatment |
|---|---|
| General-purpose donation | May be used for priority activities within Destek Ol’s statutory and humanitarian objectives. |
| Restricted/project-specific donation | Tracked separately for the project or purpose expressly specified by the donor or campaign. |
| Institutional grant | Managed according to contractual, budgetary, eligible-cost and reporting requirements. |
| In-kind donation | Subject to needs, quality, logistics, storage and suitability checks. |
3. Principles for using donations
Funds are used in accordance with the donation’s purpose, approved budgets, contracts and applicable legislation.
Restricted funds are tracked separately and may not be diverted from their intended purpose.
Implementation through partners is subject to contractual, due diligence, budget, evidence and reporting controls.
Procurement, conflict of interest, sanctions and fraud prevention controls are part of financial processes.
Project implementation and financial records are retained in an auditable form.
4. Operational and administrative expenses
Delivering humanitarian assistance securely, lawfully and traceably may require staffing, logistics, banking and payment, technology, audit, communication, data security, monitoring, compliance and other reasonable operational or administrative expenses. These costs are not concealed from donors in a misleading manner and are tracked under the relevant project or fund rules.
5. Project budgets and unit costs
These may change because of field prices, exchange rates, access, security, procurement and logistical conditions. Estimated project or unit costs shown on the site are planning figures unless expressly stated otherwise. Final actual costs are established through accounting and project closure records.
6. Publicly disclosed data
Indicators such as the number of projects, people or households reached, quantities distributed, budgets and allocation percentages are published only where the supporting records and reporting period can be verified. Estimates, targets and actual results are clearly distinguished.
7. Reporting and audit
Destek Ol carries out financial and technical reporting, bank reconciliation, document checks, partner reporting and necessary audits in accordance with project, donor or legal requirements. Published information is updated when an error or significant change is identified.
8. Donor questions
Questions about the use of donations, project budgets or financial transparency may be sent to info@destekol.org. Information requiring protection for personal data, trade secrets, security or beneficiary privacy is not disclosed publicly.
