1. What is a cookie?
Cookies are small data files that may be stored on your device through your browser when you visit a website. They may be used to operate and secure the site, remember preferences and measure performance where permitted.
2. Cookie categories
| Category | Purpose | Preference |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Core site functions, sessions, security, form integrity and recording preferences. | Necessary for the site to function. |
| Analytics/performance | Measuring visits, performance, errors and usage statistics. | Subject to the necessary legal conditions and user preferences. |
| Functional | Remembering language, display settings or functions selected by the user. | Subject to user preferences where required. |
| Marketing | Campaign effectiveness, retargeting or third-party advertising. | Not activated without an explicit choice. |
3. Cookie preferences
A mechanism is provided to allow users to choose their preferences for non-essential cookies. A “Reject” option, or its equivalent, must be as accessible as the acceptance option. Users must be able to change their preferences later.
4. Third-party technologies
Third-party features, such as analytics, video, maps, social media, security or payment services, may use their own cookies or similar technologies when enabled. Before such a technology is used, its category, purpose, provider and retention period are disclosed in the cookie panel or the current version of this Policy.
5. Browser settings
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent some site functions from working. Browser settings do not replace the site’s cookie preference mechanism; both may be used together.
6. Personal data
Where cookies involve the processing of personal data, that processing is carried out under the Privacy and Data Protection Policy and the KVKK Privacy Notice.
7. Updates
This Policy and the cookie preference panel are updated when the technologies or cookies used change.
